Your have reached the web page of Pat and Ron Bartels.  Here you will find pictures of other Bartels (Justin, Slava, and Bama The Kitty).  I occasionally update the page and in the future hope to add other Bartels relatives, friends and places that we visit.  Most of the pictures you see on the slide show were taken by, yours truly, Pat Bartels.

Hope everyone had a good holiday season.  Ron and I spent Christmas with Justin and Slava in Birmingham Alabama.  Enjoyed getting to spend a couple of days with them.  Slava and I made some killer egg nog.  Sure am glad the holidays only come once a year.  Steve and Susan invited us to go with them to Biloxi Mississippi to the Beau Rivage for a New Years celebration.  This was one of the best New Years that we have ever had.  If we spend it at home, we're usually asleep before the New Year rolls in.  Steve flew us all (Shawn, Summer, Susan, Ron, Me, Christine and Phil who piloted the plane) to Biloxi in his jet (which is always fun to ride in).  The hotel picked us up in a stretch Limo.  When we arrived we were greeted in the VIP lounge with a glass of Champaign and a yummy little cheese cake tidbit.  Then it was off to watch the South Carolina football game in the Coast Sports bar.  The first evening we were entertained by the Four Tops and the Temptations.  The next day Mike and Martha arrived.  We had a great dinner and celebrated Martha's birthday.  I celebrated a little too much that night, but luckily was not affected the next day which was New Year's Eve.  We took a Limo to the outlet mall for a little shopping that afternoon.  The hotel had a great New Year's Eve party.  I played craps for the first time (much fun), three card poker, and slots.  I did not win, but our friend Steve was a big winner. 

He amazes me at how lucky he is. 

It's nice to come back home.  Looking forward to the New Year.  Of course the years just seem to fly by.  Make the most of the new one and talk to you all later.
